Like players, coaches have the opportunity to continue to progress in their coaching journey. The coaching pathway is not a linear pathway, but coaches can move across the pathway to suit their abilities, level of development and their level of commitment at any given time.
There are three coaching levels:
1: Level 1 (Foundation)
2: Level 2 and
3: Level 3 which all have an associated accreditation.
FOUNDATION (LEVEL 1)
CoachAFL provides entry level accreditation for all coaches tailored to the age group you coach. Our Foundation course is completely online and has three streams: Junior, Youth & Senior
LEVEL 2
Level 2 courses are conducted by our State & Territory’s and are a blended course with a one-day workshop combined with some online modules and mentor observations.

LEVEL 3
Delivered both at National and State/Territory level, the Level 3 course is a full year program with workshops and online sessions spread out over a coaching season. The course is tailored to your stream of coaching with opportunities at community, talent pathways, state league and elite level.
