Over the course of July, the football community is invited to participate in Women’s Coaching Month and join AFLW and State League coaches, plus other industry experts as part of three-part webinar series. Plus, a range of new community resources for clubs and coaches to support women in coaching, as well as coaches of women & girls will also be made available and women involved in footy can participate in a survey about women in coaching plus much more!
BE PART OF THE CHANGE
Participation in women’s and girls football has grown significantly since the birth of AFLW, but there’s still work to be done in the coaching community. From community level, through the talent pathway and all the way up to AFLW there are women kicking goals in coaching, but we need to do more.

The purpose of this guide is to support coaches of Women’s & Girls’ football teams at all levels. As such it focuses on general principles relevant to varying skills and abilities.
